Clean

Furnaces |
Inspect unit for water or oil leaks, unsecured
parts and corrosion |
Inspect overall condition of oil tank and tank
legs |
Replace oil filter |
Clean or replace cad cell eye |
Clean and check retention head |
Brush burner fan |
Replace nozzle |
Replace pump screen |
Clean, file and adjust electrodes |
Test safety timing of primary control |
Check combustion chamber and flame |
Purge supply pipe from tank to filter to clear
sludge build up |
Manually work firematic shut off at tank and
burner to insure operation in case of fire |
Remove smoke pipe from unit to chimney |
Brush and vacuum smoke pipe |
Brush and vacuum chimney base, clear all
obstacles to ensure free flow of flue gases |
Open all clean out panels |
Brush and vacuum all flue passages |
Reassemble heating unit |
Attach smoke pipe ensuring three screws in each
smoke pipe connection |
Cement smoke pipe into chimney |
Adjust burner efficiency using state
of the art test equipment |
Adjust draft control for proper draft |
